Whidbey Island Super 8mm Wedding

Nathalia & Victoria’s wedding on Whidbey Island (shot on Super 8mm) was 2+ years in the making. They knew it wouldn’t be the wedding they wanted without their friends and family there in and order for that to happen, travel needed to open back up. Nathalia & Victoria are originally from Brazil – meaning that most of their friends and family would be traveling from South America to Washington for their wedding. So Nathalia & Victoria postponed & waited patiently. We were so excited to come on board knowing how long they had waited so long to make this day happen. It made the payoff that much sweeter!

The sense of excitement on their wedding day was palpable. Nathalia & Victoria were sharing embraces with people they had not seen in years due to the distance and separation of the pandemic. It was a reunion in the truest sense and the joy was immense. The day was filled with music, food, and dancing and so much happiness. It was such a fun day to be a part of – a real reminder of why being a witness to other peoples’ wedding days is so special.
