Malibu Wedding on 16mm
Documenting Anica & Clark’s wedding day in Malibu on 16mm was one of the highlight of our summer. Offering Super 8mm films this last year has given us such a refreshed approach to weddings and using 16mm film really kicked that up a notch. It’s a medium that requires so much intentionality and focus and forces us to slow down and really consider the shots we want to take.
Planned by Alexandra Dennis of Grounded Events, who specializes in sustainable weddings, this day was spent taking in the landscape, friends and family and a lot of Aperol Spritz. Saddlerock Ranch is nestled in the mountains on Malibu, facing Turtle Rock, a local landmark. It was such a beautiful, energetic day. Anica & Clark’s friends and family were so eager to celebrate these two.
