Intimate Beach Elopement La Push, WA

Amanda and Eugene’s intimate beach elopement in La Push, WA was the perfect example of doing your own thing when it comes to making decisions about your wedding day. Working with couples who make authenticity a priority is always so rewarding. Amanda & Eugene are both incredibly outdoor-oriented. They hike, they rock-climb, they travel, they do it all (I think Eugene’s outdoorsy-ness is very apparent by the way he built their arbor). Basically; it made no sense for them to have a wedding in a ballroom. So they threw tradition to the wind and decided to get married at Second Beach near La Push, WA (known for it’s moody beaches and….Twilight). They chose 15 of their closest friends and family to join them as they exchanged vows and gathered around a bonfire to celebrate their marriage. We loved the community driven aspects of this day; Amanda’s parents made food for everyone at the campground, Amanda’s sister put together her bouquet, Eugene and his friends built the arbor which Amanda’s friends adorned with florals and Amanda’s long-time friend from her dance company officiated the ceremony. The photos from this day always make me smiley; I love the focus on Amanda & Eugene’s love for one another, as well as the really beautiful relationships they have with their close friends and family.
