Boston Wedding at Fruitlands Museum

Jamie & Garrett’s wedding took place at the Fruitlands Museum in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 1914 by Clara Endicott Sears, the museum preserves the legacy of the utopian Fruitlands community, which was established in 1843 by intellectuals such as Bronson Alcott and Charles Lane. The museum grounds are also well-known for being one of the filming locations for Greta Gerwig’s Little Women.

Jamie & Garrett’s wedding day turned out to be the epitome of a New England fall day. The leaves were bright hues or red, orange and yellow. Aside from the stunning backdrop, what stood out about Jamie & Garrett’s day was the intentionality behind every decision. From their outfits, to the musical arrangements, to the parts of the day they decided to lean into vs. not – everything was reflective of Jamie & Garrett as both individuals and partners.

All music featured in this film was composed and recorded by Jamie and Garrett. The live arrangement performed by the @quartetdavis was captured at the Fruitlands Museum. It’s a true joy for us to get to come together and make work with such creative, intentional people.

Jamie & Garrett booked our Super 8 + 16mm film.
